About Studio Amaji, Meet Phylicia

Studio Amaji began with a love for creating.

In 2018, I started experimenting with balloon artistry for my son's celebrations. What began as something I did simply to make his events special quickly became something much more meaningful to me.

I fell in love with the artistry behind it, the freedom to create, the hands on process, the patience and dedication each installation requires, and most of all, the moment when an idea comes to life in front of you.

I've always been drawn to artistic freedom, DIY projects and creating things with my own hands. There's something special about taking a blank space and turning it into something people will remember.

Over the years, I continued creating for my own celebrations and the people around me, refining my eye and developing my craft. I loved seeing the reactions from guests when they walked into a space I had created.

In 2024, I decided it was time to take that passion beyond my own events and build something of my own.

And Studio Amaji was born.

Today, I create custom balloon installations and event content with the same intention that started it all: to create something beautiful, personal and unforgettable.

I believe the best events aren't just about how they look. They're about how they make you feel, and the moments you'll remember long after the celebration is over.
